*Kelly schedules have multiple local versions. The calendar preset uses a common nine-day cycle; verify the department roster.
How to choose the correct start date
Find day one of the complete workplace cycle, not simply the first shift in the current week. A six-, eight-, nine-, fourteen- or twenty-eight-day rotation moves independently of Monday-to-Sunday weeks. Starting on the wrong phase creates a calendar that looks plausible but assigns future duty days incorrectly.
When to use a custom rotation
Use the custom builder when the workplace swaps day and night teams on a different interval, inserts relief days, uses a local Kelly variation or combines unequal blocks. Enter every workday and rest day in one complete cycle, then repeat the whole period.
Turn the schedule into a pay estimate
Add actual start and end times, unpaid breaks, overtime settings and shift allowances. The monthly summary totals hours and estimated gross pay. Export the resulting calendar as CSV or ICS after reviewing the dates.
General planning information only. Confirm the official roster, rest rules, overtime and pay terms locally.
