PAYCHECK GUIDE
Check whether your payslip matches the work you did
A payslip can look official and still be difficult to verify. PayCheck AI gives hourly and shift workers one clear comparison between recorded hours, overtime, allowances and gross pay.
What this payslip checker compares
Enter one pay period at a time. Add regular hours, hourly rate, overtime hours and multiplier, evening or night allowances, weekend or holiday allowances and other taxable additions. The calculator estimates gross pay and compares it with the gross amount shown on the payslip.
Use the same dates on every document
The most common comparison error is mixing a timesheet from one period with a payslip from another. Confirm the start and end dates first. Then check that corrections, unpaid leave, bonuses and earlier adjustments are not changing the total.
AI can speed up data entry, not replace review
Upload a payslip, timesheet or both and AI can suggest the relevant figures. You remain responsible for checking every value before calculating. Cover account numbers, identification numbers and unrelated personal information before uploading.
What to do when the totals differ
Recheck the pay period, hourly rate and overtime multiplier. Look for allowances or deductions that were entered differently. If the difference remains, save the breakdown and ask payroll or your employer to explain the relevant line items.
